     How Strong was the Effect of the Gettysburg Address?               The Civil War was recognize as the fight that caused many problems to the United States of America. The North and coalition were divided in two. Slavery, owning land, and money caused them to separate. The North host was the partnership (led by General Ulysses S. Grant) and the south was the Confederates (General Robert E. Lee). The most famous conflict (the skirmish of Gettysburg) had the most effect because of the one few-minute speech: the Gettysburg Address.  The strife of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania had a big effect on the armies. In that one battle, the North lost 23,000 men and the plunk for lost 28,000 men. The North won and General Lee took his regular army back to Virginia. He had lost about a triad of his army in one day.                   Four months later, on November 19th, 1863,  hot seat Abraham Lincoln visited the site of the Battle of Gettysburg.
